Court rules FIFA, UEFA actions against Super League broke EU law

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled that FIFA and UEFA's actions to impede the creation of the Super League violated EU law. The court declared that the rules requiring prior approval for new interclub football projects, including the Super League, and prohibiting clubs and players from participating are unlawful. The ruling does not necessarily mean immediate authorization for the Super League project.
